This is the major tourist site in town and one that attracts modest crowds. It is the historic home of Napoleon and Corsicans are very proud of it. You will get a history lesson here.Full review by Thomas V

Did you happen to visit Maison Bonaparte on Corsica as part of a cruise? We are scheduled to go there on a cruise and we chose Corsica particularly to see all of the Napoleon history. There are no cruise excursions on our cruise to the museum or the cathedral and very few travel books that I have found to purchase. I would greatly appreciate any help and recommendations you can offer. Thank you so very much.

We were on a Viking ocean cruise when we visited Corsica. There was an included tour in the morning but we visited the House of Napoleon on our own in the afternoon, which is probably a good time since we had the place to ourselves. It was easy to find. It is just a couple of blocks away from the docks. It is definitely worth visiting if you are interested in Napoleon history.
