Limone sul Garda is a town and comune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, at the western bank of Lake Garda. Despite the presence of famous cultivations of lemons, the town's name is probably derived from the ancient lemos or limes. Between 1863 and 1905 the denomination of the comune was Limone San Giovanni.
