Clothing- layers of non-cotton material. You will want a wind/rain proof jacket/shell with a hood. Gloves are probably not needed, but bring if your hands get cold easily. Probably not shorts. Oxygen- hard to say. What kind of shape are you in? Have you ever been above 10,000' before? If you have any doubts, small O2 canisters are light and relatively cheap. Others: - trekking poles may be helpful, especially on the last 1.5 miles. - arrive early, the parking lot fills up quickly - keep an eye on the weather, being caught on this trail in a storm can have very serious consequences - bring a phone, the reception is surprisingly good - bring a camera (or use the one on your phone), you will see lots of animals Have a great time!
