Newcastle upon Tyne Central and West: This constituency was created in 2024, merging parts of the former Newcastle upon Tyne Central and Newcastle upon Tyne North constituencies. It encompasses areas such as Arthur’s Hill, Benwell and Scotswood, Blakelaw, Chapel, Denton & Westerhope, Elswick, Kingston Park South & Newbiggin Hall, Lemington, Monument, West Fenham, and Wingrove. The current MP is Chi Onwurah of the Labour Party, who has represented the area since July 2024. Prior to the boundary changes, she served as the MP for Newcastle upon Tyne Central from 2010 to 2024.
