how do you get in and out of the boat? I have limited upper body strength!

There is a staircase with rails on both sides that descends from the deck directly into the water. Very easy to get off and on the boat from the water.
we will be arriving from Manchester into Barbados on Sun 19th February and sailing for a week leaving port early evening. Will there be time to check in to the ship, take the excurdion and then sailaway. Or perhaps we could take the tour before leaving for the airport the following week ?

It depends on when you get in. Email them and they can give you exact times. They have a 1/2 day tour around 5 hours and a 3 hour tour. Either one is awesome.

Yes you can find various vendors on the internet and pay in advance. Shop around and you can find good deals. Always read reviews, Trip Advisor is great for this. Stay away from Viator, I found them misleading! Make sure you get what you're paying for. Our boat did not have fins available but they definitely have life jackets!
