A 5.5 hour layover will definitely be hard to do both. Essentially you get one or the other because it take about 45 mins to get to Reykjavik and 20 mins to the museum. To get to the …

A 5.5 hour layover will definitely be hard to do both. Essentially you get one or the other because it take about 45 mins to get to Reykjavik and 20 mins to the museum. To get to the museum, the best thing to do is get a taxi, but to go into town you might want to look into getting a car. Hope this helps!

No, Not walking distance at all. It is confusing as I got Reyjavik and Keflavík mixed up along with the Reyjkanesbaer National park. Viking World is right next to the International Airport, about 43 km from Reykjavic, or 36 minute drive.
