Hi Cindy! Tamarindo to the Palo Verde tour is one hour and 20 minutes. There is another option right in Tamarindo but you probably won't see as much as you will on the Palo Verde tour. You can most certainly book when you get to town. Our office is on the main street in the same Plaza as Subway.
I have a few questions. 1- about how long does it take to get to the River boat tour from Tamarindo? Does the pick up van/bus go to many resorts along the way? Can we book this tour once we arrive in Tamarindo? Thank you very much Cindy

Cindy, I answered your other query on the timing. The pick up list varies but is usually limited to Tamarindo and Langosta so there are not many stops.
