Rookie Jaxson Dart has taken an early lead in a key QB battle for the New York Giants, at training camp, also involving Jameis Winston.

There will not be a highly-publicized quarterback battle when it comes to the New York Giants this year. On the first day of training camp, Brian Daboll made it clear that the veteran Russell Wilson is QB1 for the 2025 season. "These guys will be out here competing but Russ is our starter," Daboll told reporters, via ESPN .

The Indianapolis Colts have been all over the headlines this offseason for their highly anticipated quarterback competition. The battle will feature incumbent starter Anthony Richardson and former New York Giants veteran Daniel Jones and it is set to begin tomorrow.

While reaffirming for the umpteenth time that Russell Wilson is the starter, the Giants head coach did no such thing when asked if the No. 2 quarterback is set in stone.
