Stephen Root joined the King of the Hill cast as Bill Dauterive, a former high school football star turned military barber. The actor went on to voice Mildew in Dragons: Riders of Berk and Dragons: Defenders of Berk and Bubbles in Finding Nemo. He also appeared in 2014's Selma, 2017's Get Out and 2018's On the Basis of Sex.

The Disney-owned streamer has set an Aug. 4 premiere date for its King of the Hill revival, which will come a little more than 2 1/2 years after Hulu announced the show’s return. The 10-episode season is considered a continuation of the original show, which ran for 13 seasons on Fox from 1997-2010.
