Two attendants were hurt on Friday during an emergency maneuver on a Southwest flight departing Hollywood Burbank Airport.

Passengers aboard a Southwest Airline jet that took a dramatic plunge to avoid an oncoming aircraft were told by the pilot that they nearly struck another plane before landing safely in Las Vegas.

"The plane was just in a freefall,” he told the outlet. “People were screaming. It was pandemonium."
