Journalism or Sovereignty? Jody Demling, who has nailed four of the last seven Belmont Stakes winners, just revealed his 2025 Belmont Stakes picks for Saturday, June 7 at Saratoga Race Course

The Belmont Stakes will be contested at Saratoga Race Course for the second straight year due to renovations at Belmont Park. Journalism and Sovereignty, the winners of the first two Triple Crown races, are the headliners in the eight-horse field. One of those two horses is expected to win given how strong each of them have looked in 2025.

The final leg of the horse-racing Triple Crown takes place on Saturday. There is no anticipation of a Triple Crown, as that dream died once Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty was held out of the Preakness. In addition, the race will take place in upstate New York rather than Belmont Park on Long Island.
