Have an E-ZPass? WVPA warns drivers of text scam
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — The West Virginia Parkways Authority (WVPA) is warning drivers of an ongoing text scam that targets “E-ZPass” users. According to a press release from the WVPA, E-ZPass customers have been receiving fraudulent texts sent by “E-ZPass Toll Services,” prompting users to click a link and enter payment information.
