Texas Democrats have ended a two-week walkout that stalled efforts to redraw congressional districts as part of a national partisan brawl over President Donald Trump’s desire to reshape U.S.

Wagner died Thursday at MetroHealth Medical Center, a day after he and officer Peter Gale were ambushed while eating lunch in their patrol cars at the Colorado Avenue Industrial Park in Lorain. The gunman, Michael Parker, opened fire with a high-powered rifle, shooting both Wagner and Gale. Officer Brent Payne, who rushed to assist, was also shot.
