Trump’s first Cabinet meeting included senior adviser Elon Musk, who offered a report on the new Department of Government Efficiency. Every department has implemented its own DOGE cuts, canceling contracts and laying off employees. It remains to be seen when the Cabinet will convene next in a televised meeting.
