Journey co-founder and lead guitarist Neal Schon said he "offered to play tonight" to make up for last night's abrupt cancelation after an electrical fire broke out under the RodeoHouston stage. Schon posted the message to Instagram Saturday morning, along with a short video of the band's performance before the accident.

Fans at NRG Stadium continued belting the hit after the rockers' audio cut out, but the band never returned to the stage.

Journey experienced some technical difficulties during a recent Texas concert. The legendary rock band had performed just five songs when, during their 1981 hit "Don't Stop Believin'," they were forced to leave the stage at NRG Stadium during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Friday (March 14).
