It was a no-brainer for the film's director, Dean Fleischer Camp, to bring Chris Sanders back as the voice of Stitch.

THR reports that Lilo & Stitch co-creator (and Stitch voice actor) Chris Sanders will write the script for the upcoming live-action sequel. There’s currently no plan for Sanders to direct, however, as he continues work on a Wild Robot sequel for DreamWorks.
