CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — The nominee for NASA’s top job, billionaire spacewalker Jared Isaacman, outlined his vision for space exploration on Wednesday that prioritizes sending astronauts to Mars without giving up on the moon.
The New Jersey native and billionaire, who's been to space twice, is appearing this morning before a Senate committee.
The craft carrying astronaut Jonny Kim and two Russian cosmonauts docked with the space station. They're scheduled for an eight-month stay.
