A relatively mundane men’s NCAA Tournament was playing to script late Saturday night at the Alamodome, another boring double-digit Duke win to digest, leaving us with faint hopes of Florida phenom Walter Clayton Jr.

Two of the best teams in the country, Duke and Houston, both No. 1 seeds in the tournament, will meet in the Final Four on Saturday night. With a potential voyage to the national championship on the line, the game will air live from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, with tip-off projected to be at 8:49 p.m. ET.

The Florida All-American has repeatedly come up big in late-game situations and did so again on Saturday to lead the Gators to a 79-73 win over Auburn in the Final Four. Clayton hit multiple big 3s in the second half and helped seal the win with an and-1 layup and free throw with 1:33 to extend Florida's lead to six.

Cryer was one of three freshmen on Baylor's national championship roster in the 2020-21 season. In addition to the trio of freshmen, Baylor's roster was notable in that it featured a trio of future NBA players in Jared Butler, Adam Flagler and Davion Mitchell.
