According to a report from the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Bears had their sights set on an explosive running back in the 2nd round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

According to Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune, Poles made not one, but two attempts to trade up in this year's draft for Ohio State product TreVeyeon Henderson. The running back, coming off a national championship run, would be able to lend his speed and shiftiness to a Bears' offense with Caleb Williams, DJ Moore, and Rome Odunze.

The Chicago Bears welcomed eight new players to their roster this weekend during the 2025 NFL draft, including some impact players in tight end Colston Loveland, wide receiver Luther Burden III, offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo and defensive tackle Shemar Turner.
