OpenAI has today confirmed the 4.5GW deal for Stargate data center capacity in the US, spread across the country. According to the companies, along with the Stargate I site in Abilene, Texas, OpenAI and Oracle will now have more than 5GW of data center capacity under development.
OpenAI partners with Oracle to boost Stargate AI capacity to 5 GW, as Elon Musk targets 50 million H100-scale units for xAI over the next five years.
OpenAI's Sam Altman cautions that AI voice cloning poses a fraud threat to financial institutions, echoing cybersecurity experts' concerns about evolving AI issues.
