Spring training is finally here, with the Phillies kicking off their Grapefruit League schedule Saturday afternoon against the Detroit Tigers. But the only way to watch the game is if you have tickets.

Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Taijuan Walker has spent the majority of his career as a starter. After 12 seasons in the big leagues, his responsibilities have gradually changed. While he did make 15 starts last year, Walker was also utilized as a reliever. Most projected Opening Day rosters have Walker in the Phillies bullpen in 2025.

With players like Tarik Skubal, Spencer Torkelson and Riley Greene returning, along with a few offseason additions such as former New York Yankees infielder Gleyber Torres, there are expectations the team is able to compete in the AL Central once again.
