Arsenal have thumped newly promoted Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners were heavy favourites to make two wins from two at the start of the new season, and got the job done in emphatic fashion thus setting them up nicely for next weekend's showdown with reigning champions Liverpool at Anfield.

Arsenal plays its first home fixture of the new season on Saturday as Leeds heads south to the Emirates, buoyed by a positive start to life back in the English Premier League.

Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres netted his first two Premier League goals and defender Jurrien Timber scored twice in a 5-0 thrashing of Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
