EINDHOVEN, Netherlands — PSV Eindhoven striker Ricardo Pepi will be out of action for “a long time,” coach Peter Bosz said Friday after the United States international sustained a knee injury in a midweek win over Liverpool in the Champions League.

Two days after scoring the eventual game-winning goal in PSV’s Champions League match against Liverpool, the club revealed Ricardo Pepi suffered a knee injury in the match. PSV did not disclose any specifics about Pepi’s knee injury and how long he would be out for.
