Hotel security guard says Sean Combs tried to give him money after finding Cassie injured during 2016 assault incident

The long-awaited proceeding in federal court in Manhattan kicked off Monday with opening statements. Prosecutors painted a picture of Combs as a violent individual running a criminal enterprise, based on coercing people — using drugs, threats and physical force — to participate in orchestrated sex acts called "freak offs."

Lawyers for Misa Hylton, who previously showed support for Diddy accuser Cassie, said that she was at the trial to support her son with the music mogul.
