Federica Brignone broke her own record as the oldest winner of a women's World Cup ski race Saturday as the 34-year-old Italian triumphed in the giant slalom in Semmering.

The giant slalom in Semmering is a disappointment for the Swiss women. Federica Brignone secured victory ahead of Sara Hector and Alice Robinson. Lara Gut-Behrami, second after the first run, makes a big mistake and falls back to 9th place.

The Italian went top of the overall World Cup standings with victory in Austria by over half a second from Olympic champion Sara Hector and Alice Robinson.
