A 4-year-old boy taken after a deadly Norfolk shooting was found safe in Virginia Beach. Tyli Scott, 27, is in custody. Police say charges are pending.

The mother was identified as 28-year-old Alexus L. Foreman, a Norfolk resident. Police confirmed on Monday that the 4-year-old boy who was taken from the scene was her child.

Police said they located the missing 4-year old safely just before 1 a.m. at a home in Virginia Beach. Scott was taken into custody by officers.
