The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired center Trevor Zegras from the Anaheim Ducks just days before the 2025 NHL draft. The Flyers are sending center Ryan Poehling, the 2025 Columbus Blue Jackets' second-round pick (45th overall) and a 2026 fourth-round pick to the Ducks for the Zegras.

The Anaheim Ducks are trading Zegras to the Flyers in exchange for center Ryan Poehling and two draft picks, the team announced Monday. The package includes the No. 45 pick of the 2025 draft and a fourth-rounder in 2026.

After missing the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the fifth consecutive season, the Philadelphia Flyers made a change behind the bench by hiring Rick Tocchet, most recently of the Vancouver Canucks. Just days before the 2025 NHL Draft, the Flyers are adding forward Trevor Zegras in a trade with the Anaheim Ducks.
