The Los Angeles Lakers played their next-to-last game of the Las Vegas summer league on Thursday. They took on the Boston Celtics, their historic rivals, and they were hoping to get a few promising performances from their young prospects.

The 6-foot-7-inch swingman, in his first season on a two-way contract, slammed home four buckets en route to 11 points as the Celtics beat the Lakers, 87-78, in Las Vegas.

The Celtics stayed in control for the entire second half, pushing their lead up to double digits for the entire fourth quarter on their way to the comfortable win. The victory improves Boston to 3-1 in Las Vegas with one game looming in the consolation round this weekend.
