A state banquet was held at the Italian Presidential Palace last evening for King Charles and Queen Camilla. The event coincided with the royal couple's 20th wedding anniversary.

Camilla repurposed her ivory gown and coat for her state visit to Italy with her husband, King Charles Queen Camilla celebrated her and King Charles’ milestone wedding anniversary by wearing her ensemble from their 2005 nuptials.

Writing about the late Queen's speech, author Katie Nicholl wrote in her 2022 book, 'The New Royals': "It was an unusually sentimental speech from the monarch and it captured the visceral sense of relief the couple had, in their fifties, being able to make their enduring love official."
