The manufacturer of Harbor Breeze and Honeywell ceiling fans has recalled about 77,900 fans because the fan blades can detach during use, posing a risk to people and property.
The fans with dangerous blades and sold under the Harbor Breeze and Honeywell Rio brands were made by Hong Kong China Electric Appliance Manufacture Company.
More than 200 consumers have reported issues with the Harbor Breeze 48-inch Santa Ana ceiling fan, manufactured by Fanim Industries.
