DES MOINES, Iowa (KTTC) – Iowa State Sen. Michael Bousselot (R-Ankeny) announced he will be introducing a bill that proposes the purchase of Minnesota’s nine southern-most counties. Bousselot made the announcement at the Land Investment Expo in Des Moines.

This announcement follows the lead of President-elect Donald Trump as he's floated taking control of Greenland and the Panama Canal.
