Kylian Mbappe has not been named in Real Madrid’s squad for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Group H match against Pachuca at the Bank of America Stadium on Monday.

Kylian Mbappe was discharged from hospital after an acute case of gastroenteritis and it is not known when he will be able to play for Real Madrid at the Club World Cup.

Xabi Alonso said Kylian Mbappé is "better" as he recovers from gastroenteritis, with Real Madrid hoping to have the star forward available for their last Club World Cup group game against RB Salzburg. Mbappé was absent on Wednesday as Madrid drew 1-1 with Al Hilal in their opening game in Group H, after being hospitalised this week.
