Now, 37 years later, Nike has dubbed 2016 as “ The Year of the Windrunner,” and has released a special illustration that breaks down the history of the jacket.

The plissé attached to the back of Nike’s iconic Windrunner jacket, made of nylon “ripstop” and mesh, billows out when the wearer runs.
