John Mozeliak and the St. Louis Cardinals had egg on their face when Nolan Arenado turned down a potential trade to the Houston Astros earlier this offseason, but Arenado pulled a bit of a bait and switch.

According to league sources, the Astros circled back with the Cardinals after Alex Bregman signed with the Red Sox.
