Stargazers on the lookout for meteors were treated to an extra nighttime spectacular on Tuesday night as spirals appeared in the sky along the East Coast.

Several residents in the Lehigh Valley and throughout Pennsylvania reported seeing a “spinning light” object in the sky Tuesday night. Many people posted images of the object on social media, leading to speculation about the cause of the anomaly.
