Oklahoma State was among the worst teams in the country last season, but it has an outside shot at being one of the best next season. OSU’s key to building its roster this offseason was gathering players who had seen limited opportunity but showcased talent at larger schools and players who had shown they needed a step up in competition to match their level of play.

There are positive expectations for both coaches heading into the 2025 season. Josh Pate has ranked both teams in his post-spring top 10, placing Florida at No. 9 and Oklahoma at No. 10. Pate appeared on David Pollack's podcast, "See Ball Get Ball with David Pollack," and that's where Pollack expressed optimism about both teams’ progress.
