Celebrate the 40th anniversary of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" with this 14-minute video of previously unseen animations by Terry Gilliam, who also explains the inspiration behind his work.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail ’s 40th anniversary Blu-ray, DVD, and castle-shaped box set will come out in the U.S. on Oct. 27. You can see all of Gilliam’s deleted animations above.

Included in this Blu-Ray box set are a handful of new tidbits, the most intriguing of all being 14-minutes of lost animation footage with a commentary by Monty Python alum Terry Gilliam.
