An 11-year-old child who found a rare baseball card for Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes has officially sold the extremely valuable memorabilia.

Topps announced Friday that the 2024 Chrome Update MLB debut patch autograph card sold for an incredible $1.11 million, including buyer’s premium. It’s a record paid for a Skenes card and the most expensive modern, non-Mike Trout baseball card, according to Topps. The card was sold via Fanatics Collect.
