A top emergency response official said more than 150 patients have been taken to different hospitals as search and rescue efforts remain underway Tuesday.

A disaster struck the Dominican Republic capital, Santo Domingo, on Tuesday when the roof of the iconic Jet Set nightclub collapsed, resulting in the death of at least 44 people and injuring over 160 others.
