FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A 12-year-old girl was shot in the back while at a Fayetteville carnival Saturday night.

Cassandra Ambrose, grandmother of shooting victim Ambrose said she arrived at the carnival before the shooting happened around 8 p.m. "It happened really fast, it was very chaotic," she said.
