Super Bowl LIX kicks off on Sunday in New Orleans, which is the site of the coldest Super Bowl ever played over 50 years ago. Super Bowl VI was played in New Orleans, Louisiana between Dallas and Miami. This was before the Superdome opened in 1975. At kickoff, temperatures were in the low 40s with wind chills in the 20s.
