The Switch 2 Pro Controller will also have two extra buttons not found on the Joy-Con 2. These buttons, GL and GR, can be assigned to any button input the player wants, whether it's something important while playing or using one as a Capture button so players don't have to take their thumb off the analog stick.

Nintendo has taken the wraps off a Pro Controller to go along with the newly detailed Switch 2. It’s been upgraded with two new ‘GL’ and ‘GR’ buttons on the rear grips which can be used to remap other controls,
