The Tennessee Volunteers have been in the headlines due to their back-and-forth with now-former starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava, who is officially in the college football transfer portal. Iamaleava tried to negotiate for more money before electing to enter the portal in hopes of a bigger deal elsewhere.

Iamaleava officially entered the transfer portal on Wednesday after parting ways with the Vols over the weekend.

The transfer portal is open for business, but the Tennessee Volunteers have yet to land a replacement for former starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava. Worse yet, with each passing day, available quarterbacks are either committing elsewhere or being paid to stay put.
