Verona begins its baseball season on April 3 against Columbia, a team the Hillbillies split the SEC Liberty crown with a season ago. Both teams had 13-3 records in the Liberty.

The Hillbillies defeated South River 3-0 on Saturday in the 10th Annual Autism Awareness Baseball Challenge in New Brunswick. Verona Head Coach Joe Phelan said they were happy to participate.
