John Cena and Randy Orton's rivarly runs deep. The generational stars have feuded for the world title numerous times. On WWE SmackDown, Orton added a new wrinkle to their Backlash encounter. For the first time, Orton will wrestle not only a contemporary in Cena, but also a legend.

The WWE SmackDown event on May 2 took place at Des Moines, Iowa's Wells Fargo Arena. It was quite a performance, as they were ready for Backlash and had a lot to attend to. Randy Orton was the first to challenge John Cena and defeat the 17-time world champion via a rematch.

WWE Champion John Cena recently told Randy Orton that he’s going to erase three generations of his family’s history when he retires later this year as the last real champion. Orton responded to John’s threat with an RKO.
