Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has confirmed he is returning to competitive tennis, headlining the Brisbane International in December in preparation for the 2025 Australian Open.

Although the Australian hardcourts aren’t as accommodating to his serve and volley game as the green grass of Wimbledon, Kyrgios has still had plenty of success at home, winning the Brisbane International in 2018 then teaming up with his good mate Thanasi Kokkinakis to win the Australian open doubles title in 2022.

Nick Kyrgios has confirmed he will make his long-awaited return to competitive tennis at the Brisbane International after playing only one tour match in more than two years.

Nick Kyrgios has confirmed his return to the ATP Tour. The Australian – who hasn't played competitively since June 2023 – will headline the Brisbane International in late December. He will also feature at the World Tennis League exhibition event in Abu Dhabi the week before.
