The Pirates announced on Friday that former player and bench coach Gene Lamont as well as former Tigers third baseman Chris Truby (2002) will be joining Kelly’s big-league staff.

The Pirates also promoted Chris Truby, who had been serving as the manager for Triple-A Indianapolis. Truby will work with the Pirate infielders.
