Pawan Kalyan voiced concerns over alleged adulteration of the sacred Tirupati laddus, claiming the ghee contained animal fats, including fish oil, pork fat, and beef fat.

Pawan Kalyan, Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, expressed his concern over the controversy centering around the presence of animal fats in the prasadam of Tirupati Balaji on Twitter. He said the TTD board was set up by the YCP government and has to answer now and that the government would ‘not spare’ anybody and felt the need to have a ‘Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board’ at the national level.

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Janasena Party leader, Pawan Kalyan, announced on Saturday that he will embark on an 11-day penance to seek divine intervention following allegations of animal fats being used in the famous Tirupati laddus.

Hyderabad: The allegations of using adulterated ghee in making laddu prasadam (consecrated sweet) by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) sometime ago, appear to have created a rift in Telugu film industry with actors Prakash Raj and Manchu Vishnu engaging in war of words on social media.
