At the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, Gibbs just needed to finish higher than Ty Dillon, and he did just that, placing 21st as Dillon placed 28th. With the win, he took home the In-Season Challenge prize of $1 million.

The Brickyard 400 NASCAR Cup Series race on July 27 at Dover Motor Speedway is under a weather delay for rain with four laps to go. Bubba Wallace held a 4-second lead over Kyle Larson before the caution flag waved for rain with six laps to go.
Larson and the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet team found themselves on the right side of strategy calls nearly all day and survived a rain delay and a pair of overtime restarts to come home second on Sunday in the Brickyard 400. Larson entered the event as the defending winner.
Tensions are high today in Indianapolis. The pole-sitter, Chase Briscoe, is doing his best to stay in contention for the win. However, on a pit stop in Stage 2, crew chief James Small had to get onto his driver for missing his mark.
