Chelsea and Ajax have reached an agreement over the signing of Jorrel Hato for a fee in excess of €40million plus a sell-on clause, subject to approval from the Dutch club’s supervisory board. Chelsea are said to be closing in on signing Jorrel Hato from Ajax Amsterdam, with reports yesterday from both Fabrizio Romano and The Athletic ’s David Ornstein agreeing that not only are the Blues making good progress in the negotiations, but that a deal is imminent.
